About Sunset Felines
Sunset Felines is a small nonprofit organization based in West Columbia, SC, dedicated to caring for managed feral cat colonies as well as elderly and chronically ill street cats living at our sanctuary. All cats under our care have been spayed/neutered. We are committed to educating the public on the importance of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) to decrease cat populations.
Our Approach
At Sunset Felines, we believe in a humane and sustainable approach to managing feral cat colonies and providing sanctuary for elderly and chronically ill street cats. Through TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return), we aim to control the overpopulation of community cats and improve their quality of life.

Who We Are
Sunset Felines is driven by a passionate team dedicated to the well-being of community cats. Our journey began back in 2001 with Frankie Johnson and Dale Gause's desire to make a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable animals, and it has evolved into a mission to provide love, care, and advocacy for feral and street cats in need.
Join Our Cause
We welcome compassionate individuals who are willing to contribute their time and skills to support our mission. Whether it's through volunteering at our sanctuary, assisting with TNR efforts, caring for our colonies, or helping with educational initiatives, your involvement can make a real difference in the lives of community cats. Join us in creating a better future for these deserving feline companions.
